Thirteen-year-old Mariah Bozeman is already one busy young lady with a lot of accolades under her belt. She is an actress, model, fitness instructor, black cheer ambassador, and BLM advocate. Recently, the talented teen added one more-her film debut in Netflix‘s The Woman in The Window.
Bozeman is no stranger to Tinseltown as she has appeared in several commercials, print ads, and has had a co-starring role on NBC’s Chicago Med.
The Woman in The Window is an American psychological thriller film directed by Joe Wright. Anna Fox, (played by Amy Adams and is the mother of Olivia Fox, Mariah Bozeman), is an agoraphobic child psychologist who finds herself keeping tabs on the picture-perfect family across the street through the windows of her New York City brownstone. Her life is turned upside down when she inadvertently witnesses a brutal crime. Shocking secrets are revealed and nothing and no one are what they seem in this suspenseful psychological thriller. The anticipated Netflix film is based on the gripping, best-selling novel and adapted by Tracy Letts.
The film stars Amy Adams, Gary Oldman, Anthony Mackie, Mariah Bozeman, Fred Hechinger, Wyatt Russell, Brian Tyree Henry, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Julianne Moore.
During a virtual press preview, Adams said she was attracted to The Woman in The Window because it offered her something new. Adams said that she was allowed her to delve into the kind of “psychological thrillers [she’s enjoyed] throughout the years.” Adams also noted that her character Anna is a rich one. She stated that Anna is someone who is “struggling with so much darkness, and there’s a lot of shame, a lot of secrets,” which tied in nicely with director Joe Wright’s “really interesting approach to the thriller.”
The Woman in The Window debuts on Netflix on May 14th. Make sure to tune-in and let us know what you think!
