Sibling rivalry is something we see all too often with some of the most famous celebrities.
Jealousy, competing against each other and and comparing, bitter arguments and fallouts are just some of the common things we hear about.
Kelly Osbourne is the latest example, as she recently revealed she doesn’t talk to her sister Aimee.
The sisters reportedly fell out in 2014, and in a new interview Kelly, 36, confirmed this, saying she “doesn’t understand” her older sibling and explained they are “really different”.
Aimee, 37, has spent most of her life out of the limelight, choosing not to star in the family’s reality TV show The Osbournes, which propelled Kelly and Jack, the children of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, to stardom.
“She doesn’t understand me and I don’t understand her,” Kelly explained.
But Kelly and her sister Aimee are not the only ones who have had some very public fallouts.
Here are some of the most famous sibling feuds to date…
Gigi and Bella Hadid
Stunning model sisters Gigi, 26, and Bella, 24, have made names for themselves in the industry.
And there’s no doubt the sisters are incredibly close due to their age, as well as having the same circle of connections, which makes it easier for outsiders to compare them.
Bella has spoken about her frustration of being compared to her older sibling in the past, particularly as there are things she envies about Gigi, but she insisted there is no competition between them.
She previously said it’s ‘hurtful’ when people compare her and her blonde sibling’s different looks.
“People still love to compare and contrast us – what’s better about her or what’s not that good about me – and it’s hard because people are really mean,” she told Seventeen magazine.
“I just have to remind myself that she’s been doing this forever. I can’t keep comparing myself to her because we’re so different.”
Speaking about their bond, she added: “I’m her biggest supporter, and she’s my biggest supporter. We’re not competitive at all.
“What people don’t really know is that she’s actually hilarious. And she can eat whatever she wants. It’s really annoying.”
Kim and Kourtney Kardashian
Keeping Up With the Kardashian fans have seen some heavy drama over the years, but nothing comes close to the violent fight sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian got into just last year.
Things got so vicious between the oldest siblings of the clan that Kim was seen with scratches and blood on her arms – and the force of the fight was so strong that her make-up ended up smeared on the wall.
It all initially kicked off because their little sister Kylie Jenner, 23, refused to walk in a Balmain fashion show because she felt ill.
Debating who would cover for her, Kim, 40, refused because it would clash with her own brand and called out Kylie’s work ethic.
“If I were on my deathbed, I would still show up,” she blasted, suggesting that the rest of her sisters don’t share the same level of dedication as her and Khloe, 36.
At that point, a furious Kourtney waded in, telling Kim she was deeply offended by her comments.
“You act like I don’t do s***. You have this narrative in your mind,” raged the mother-of-three, who had been making noises about wanting out of the show for the past few seasons.
And when Kim tried to talk and laugh it off, Kourtney raged: “No, no, no, I will literally f*** you up if you mention it again. Literally, shut the f*** up and don’t laugh like that.”
Insisting she works her ‘f***ing ass off’, Kourtney also defended her right to be a stay-at-home mum before hurling a bottle of water at her younger sister, grabbing her and threatening to ‘literally f***’ Kim up.
A floored Khloe tried to break them up as Kim tried to land a punch and a kick, screaming: “Don’t ever come at me like that… Don’t ever dig your nails into me like that. How old are you?”
Kourt retaliated with two slaps, telling Kim – who was left with blood on her arm – “I don’t want to be near your fat ass.”
The fight was so brutal that it shut down filming for an entire week – something that has never happened before in the history of KUWTK.
Liam and Noel Gallagher
Noel, 53, and his younger brother Liam, 48, have major tensions ever since Oasis hit the big time in the 1990s.
The first notable cracks in the relationship between the pair emerged on their first American tour in 1994, where Liam frequently changed the lyrics of Noel’s songs to annoy both his brother and American listeners.
This resulted in a physical clash between the boys and a chair being thrown, prompting Noel to abruptly depart the tour.
Similar anger emerged in 1995 during recording sessions, as Liam invited an entire pub’s worth of people to the studio where the band were working and this considerably riled Noel – so much so that he hit Liam with a cricket bat.
During the same period, the brothers were interviewed by NME but couldn’t refrain from repeatedly telling each other to ‘F*** off” in a rather memorable spat.
The next bust-up came in 1996 as Oasis’ MTV Unplugged performance arrived and Liam pulled out at the last minute but viewed from a VIP box and heckled Noel.
Things appeared to calm down until the time the new millennium came and a tour in Spain saw a drunken altercation occur between the pair.
However, the final straw came for Noel in 2009 when he publicly quit the band.
Noel said in a statement that he couldn’t work with Liam for “a day longer”.
The elder Gallagher had said of Liam to NME: “I don’t know who the guy is who’s in these interviews, he seems really cool, because the guy I’ve been in a band with for the last 18 years is a f*****g k***head.”
Liam went on to sue his older brother for libel but dropped the case after Noel apologised to him.
Noel went on to have a successful solo music career and created a new band – The High-Flying Birds – in 2011.
However, Liam couldn’t shy away from a dig and referred to them on Twitter as the “High-Flying Turds”.
Fans of the brothers have since been begging them to make up and reunite, which they have sparked rumours about in the past.
As of yet, Liam and Noel have not confirmed anything.
Madonna and brother Christopher
Pop star Madonna and her brother used to be very close until he wrote a tell-all book called Life With My Sister Madonna, which revealed personal details about the songstress.
At the time he used to work as her assistant, but later lost his job thanks to writing the book that didn’t paint his sister in a good light.
She did not speak to Christopher for years after the book came out, but it’s reported that they have since tried to put it past them and move on from it.
Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas
The Jonas Brothers were a huge success back in the 2000s.
They had a lot of fans who loved their music, and from the outside it seemed like the three men were having a great time.
But it all came crashing down in 2013 when the band split up, due to a lot of tension and conflict amongst the brothers.
The news shocked fans, as it meant they also cancelled their tour.
There has been no explanation behind their split, but it’s likely the brothers personalities and opinions changed as they got older, resulting in disagreements which led to end the trio.
Beyonce and sister Solange
Worldwide pop sensation Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles will no doubt get envious of her super-talented sibling.
For the most part, the two women appear to get along well, but Solange and Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z have previously clashed.
The rapper and Solange were caught in a rare disagreement which resulted in a huge brawl at the Met Gala in 2014.
However the pair appear to be fine now, as Jay-Z explained what actually went on that night.
“We’ve always had a great relationship,” he said during an interview with Rap Radar hosts Elliott Wilson and Brian Miller, posted to Jay-Z’s streaming service, Tidal.
He added: “We’ve had one disagreement. Before and after, we’ve been cool. That’s my sister. Not my sister-in-law, no, my sister. Period.”
